He mostly appeared in Hindi T.V. serials but he has also done a number of movies and to be specific he has done 14 movies and 19 serials. Joshi started his career in 1989 by playing Ramu in the movies with Maine Pyaar Kiya and he debuted in TV screen in 1995 with Kabhi Yeh Kabhi Woh. The most famous role played by Dilip Joshi is Jethalal which appeared in 2008 in Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He is a Very Humble Person in real life and is a very religious person.
